QUETTA: A delegation of the Municipal Corporation of Quetta district will meet Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo on Monday (today) for transfer of authority to the lower level and release of the pending budget so that relief can be provided to the public. This was stated during a joint meeting of district chairmen, municipal committee chairmen and vice chairmen from all the districts of Balochistan. The meeting was chaired by district chairman Malik Naeem Bazai on Sunday at the MPS hostel. The meeting was attended by Malik Usman Achakzai, Isa Roshan, Abdul Khaliq, Malik Qaim-ulDin, Abdur Raheem Kurd, Shah Jehan Pathan, Wadera Ameer Muhammad khetran, Phaleen Baloch, Abdul Razziq meerwani and other chairmen. Addressing the meeting, Bazai said that no progress was made in the past three years despite having talked to two successive governments over the transfer of authority and allocation of funds to the municipal corporations.
