Samsung launches three new devices in Pakistan

Samsung has launched the newest phones in the A Series; Galaxy A8, A8+ and Grand Prime Pro-2018 in Pakistan.

"With the objective of expanding the Galaxy A8 family, the A8 and A8+ are the perfect mid-ranging smartphones for the consumers,” said Samsung Pakistan’s president, Mr Y J Kim.

He further added that the Grand-Prime Pro is equipped with a “Super AMOLED screen” that delivers crystal clear view with great sharpness.

Samsung expected to have sold 10 million Note 8 devices

All three phones are powered by 1.6GHz Octa-core processor and 4GB RAM space, while the external memory card can expand it till 256GB. Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+ come equipped with the 16 megapixel and 8-megapixel dual front camera while the rear camera is 16 megapixels. The video is of great quality and offers hyper-lapse and time-lapse features with bokeh effect as well.

Samsung Galaxy A8 has a 5.6-inch touch-screen, while the A8+ is a 6-inch touch-screen phone. Both comprising of 2.5D glass on the front and 3D curved glass on the back that ensures durability.

The new and innovative thing about these phones is the ‘Always On Display’ that lightens the screen up and shows information with just a glance at the phone without having one to unlock their screen. New ‘Samsung Pay’ feature enables one to complete any financial transaction with the help of the phone too.

The phones are long-lasting when it comes to the battery timing and have been rated for being water and dust-resistant as well.
