Kareena Kapoor Khan to grace the ramp in Doha, Qatar

Organisers believe the actor's participation will make for a bigger and better show

Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to make her way to Doha, Qatar for the second week, named Bollywood Week, of the Shop Qatar Festival 2018. She will be attending the fashion show at Mondrian Doha, West Bay on January 17 at 6pm, reported Gulf Times.

Bollywood Week, organised by Talent Resources, started on January 7 and will continue till February 7. It includes activities ranging from fashion shows and music concerts to cultural shows and other South Asian inspired events.

The Jab We Met diva will walk the Bollywood Fashion Show ramp amongst six Indian designers. “I can confirm that Kareena will walk on the ramp along with other models,” said Rahat Mansoor, who runs Talent Resources.

She added, “This is going to be a big show as six well-known fashion designers from India are taking part in the show. The participation of a Bollywood celebrity will make it much bigger and more attractive for the residents of Doha.”

About the designs, she shared, “The show will include dresses and designs from India highlighting bridal, ethnic and cultural trends. Th six designers are Archana Kochhar, Nida Mahmood, Pallavi Jaipur, SAAJ by Ankita, Mandira Virk and Vikram Phondis."

Organised by Qatar Tourism Authority, the Shop Qatar Festival started with an Arabian Week which focused on activities related to the Arab world. It also had Arabian fashion shows and make-up workshops.

The third week of the festival will be International Week in which international brands will be showcased and cultural events from different countries will be held.
