Book on political struggle of Quaid published
Compiled with the help of authentic documents maintained by National Archives of Pakistan

A rare book based on historical documents on the political life and struggle of Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah has been published under the title “Masalihat aur Jadojehad-i-Azadi” (Reconciliation and Struggle for Freedom) which is Urdu translation of an English book.
This book is part of a series of books being published by Quaid-i-Azam Academy (QAA) under the project of Jinnah Papers on the political life of Quaid-i-Azam and his role in the Pakistan Movement, to preserve the history for coming generations.
This was revealed by Adviser to Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage (NH&LH) Irfan Siddiqui while talking to media on Monday.
Siddiqui said preserving the political struggle of Quaid-i-Azam, narrative of Pakistan Movement along with role of Quaid’s stalwarts is direly needed for transmitting it to the younger generation.
The academy has also completed compilation of Volume 19 and 20 of Jinnah Papers under the titles of ‘The journey to Pakistan and Assassination Attempt on Jinnah’, he said.
Siddiqui said different volumes of Jinnah Papers so far, published carried nine years historical struggle of Quaid-i-Azam during his political life from January 1, 1940 to 30th September 1948 in chronological order.
He said the research officers of academy have compiled these books with the help of authentic documents maintained by National Archives of Pakistan and other government repositories.
Siddiqui said volumes 19 and 20 of Jinnah Papers in English language will be published by next year.
He said so far 11 volumes of Jinnah Papers had been translated into Urdu language by prominent experts. Eight volumes in Urdu language have been published earlier and now the ninth volume has also been published. The printing of volume 10 of Jinnah papers titled “Pakistan Key Haq Mein Faisala” is also underway, he said.
