Farm bodies admire Horticulture Expo

LAHORE: Various organisations of the farmers have admired the organisers of Horticulture expo 2018. In a joint statement issued by Kissan Welfare Forum Punjab, Kissan Board Pakistan, Anjuman-e-Kashtkaran, Thafaz-e-Kissan Haqooq, Anjuman Faroogh-e-Zarat, Milli Yakjehti, Tanzeem-e-Mazaran Pakistan , Kissan Hari Ittehad, Anjuman Baray Tarqi Kissan and Pakistan Kissan Council on Monday, they demanded the concerned authorities of agriculture department Punjab to continue holding such events in future. The expo has provided an opportunity to the farmers to get access to new markets in the world and introduce their horticulture products there. They said that the event has opened new opportunities for the farmers to increase their production, earn profit and boost investment in the agriculture sector. They said that such events should also be organised in other provinces as well.
