Culling stray dogs

It has not even been effective in controlling population of stray dogs let alone controlling dog-bite cases

KARACHI: Despite several rounds of culling dogs by the Karachi administration, no significant results have been achieved in controlling cases of dog-bites. In fact, packs of stray dogs roaming freely on the sidewalks and streets are still quite a common sight, particularly in and round food and grocery markets. Though culling has been an old tactic of the city’s municipal authorities, the practice has not even been effective in controlling the population of stray dogs let alone controlling dog-bite cases.
