Adult Literacy Centre opens in Dhoda

Women's literacy contributes to socio-economic development of the country

KOHAT: Kohat Assistant Commissioner Gul Banu on Friday inaugurated a Women’s  Adult Literacy Centre at Government Girls Primary School Dhoda and said that 25 such centers have so far been set up. Addressing the inaugural ceremony she said that the literacy centre was established to educate women enabling them to engage in their day to day activities without any difficulty.

She said that girls would learn reading, writing and maths at these centres.  She stressed upon women to fully benefit from the centre  and make themselves literate to contribute in the socio-economic development of the country.
