Police trained on preparation of PC-1

Such workshops and refresher courses will continue to be organised in future

LAHORE: A training workshop for police officials was held by the Strategic Planning Unit over the preparation and evaluation of a PC-1. The session was organised in the Committee Room of the Central Police Office in Lahore on Tuesday. Former Planning and Development Department chief monitoring officer Muhammad Asif was one of the trainers and he briefed participants about developmental schemes for preparation of a PC-1 in different informative sessions. The main objective of the workshop was to remove hurdles in the path of preparing a PC-1 and to train the staff to cope with relevant challenges.

This would ensure that the project proposals were prepared in accordance with instructions of the Planning and Development department. Staff of different CPO branches, additional IG CTD, DIG telecommunication and welfare, AIG logistics and other officials participated in the workshop. On the occasion, Asif gave answers to questions asked by participants regarding all subjects of PC-1 documents. He also provided comprehensive guidance by presenting case studies. Meanwhile, the additional IG said that the major aim of the workshop was to enhance efficiency of officers in different branches. He added that such workshops and refresher courses will continue to be organised in future.
