Tahirul Qadri has come to solemnise Imran's nikah, says Captain Safdar
Former PM's son-in-law also likens Sheikh Rasheed to a 'matchmaking aunt'
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar said on Tuesday that Tahirul Qadri has returned to Pakistan to perform the nikah of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan.
The cricketer-turned-politician broke his silence last week about his possible third marriage, clarifying that he had only sent a wedding proposal to Bushra, his spiritual guru, and was awaiting her response.
"While Qadri has come to solemnise Imran Khan's Nikah, Sheikh Rasheed can be likened with that old matchmaker woman usually found in villages," Safdar said.
Imran Khan's sisters once again in the dark regarding his marriage
He made these remarks after adjournment of the accountability court proceedings in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) cases against him.
"Imran Khan's marriage is his personal matter and he is allowed to have four wives," he added. "We can't challenge Rasheed to a public debate since he's already been proven a liar."
