Skyrocketing Prices: PTI demands CJP take suo motu notice

He paid tribute to CJP for taking suo motu in public interests

LAHORE: The opposition benches have demanded the country’s top judge Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar for taking a suo motu notice over skyrocketing prices of food items and ensure the provision of essential routine items to the common people at lower rates. The demand was made by Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI)’s legislator Malik Taimoor Masood through his resolution he submitted in the Punjab Assembly. The opposition legislator also applauded the role of CJP for his suo motu notice over hospital’s conditions, clean drinking water and education. He paid tribute to CJP for taking suo motu in public interests. While lashing out at the government, he said that the government was not rendering its job which was to provide relief to the public. He said that the government had completely failed in providing sigh of relief under the increasing prices issue. He implored the government had also failed in providing basic facilities of clean drinking water, health, and education to its masses.
