Chinkara deer gives birth at zoo

Zoo management sources say deer hunting was strictly banned but despite this, the species is on the brink of danger

LAHORE: A Chinkara deer gave birth to a fawn at the Lahore Zoo on Friday. After the arrival of a new member, its population increased to five in the zoo. There are three female and one male deer in the zoo.

The Lahore Zoo management sources told APP that Chinkara deer hunting was strictly banned but despite this, the species is on the brink of danger.
