LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) will establish a facilitation desk at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) that will be headed by LCCI Vice President Zeshan Khalil.

The agreement was reached during a meeting between LCCI President Malik Tahir Javaid and SNGPL MD Amjad Latif at the Lahore chamber on Wednesday.

The meeting also decided that the chamber would appoint a focal person to coordinate with SNGPL on day-to-day issues, while a committee has also been formed comprising LCCI VP Zeeshan Khalil, Tahir Manzoor Chaudhry, Muhammad Arshad Chaudhry, Adeeb Iqbal Sheikh and Mian Muhammad Nawaz to facilitate businessmen in connection with gas supply problems.

Latif said that establishment of the facilitation desk at LCCI and appointment of a focal person would help resolve issues in the shortest possible time.
