Rescuers respond to 21,269 calls 

The yearly performance report was shared with journalists

SARGODHA: Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 responded to 21,269 emergency calls during the last year in Sargodha, District Emergency Officer Mazhar Shah said. He said this while sharing yearly performance report with journalists.

He maintained that Rescue 1122 provided emergency service to 6,556 road accident victims, 12,342 medical and heart attack emergencies, 386 fire incidents, 502 of various crimes, 35 of drowning, 19 of building collapse incidents and other emergencies. At least 5,923 people were provided first aid on the spot.
