To address women issues, KPCSW launches website

PESHAWAR: With the world far more connected today, thanks to growing internet penetration, a provincial government body on women have launched a website to better inform, and help the women of the province.

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Commission on Status of Women (KPCSW) formally inaugurated its website (kpcsw.gov.pk), aimed at promoting an agenda of empowering women. The launching ceremony was organised by Blue Veins under its project on “policy advocacy and research to strengthen implementation of pro-women legislation and gender-based violence (GBV) response services in K-P” with assistance from the Australian government and Trócaire.

During the ceremony, features of the website were explained.

They elaborated on different aspects of the website and answered queries pertaining to it.
