Actor plans on living life to the fullest before turning 40

Bollywood beauty Vidya Balan made a name for herself in Indian cinema with crackling performances in movies such as The Dirty Picture and Kahaani. The actor – who will be turning 39 on January 1, 2018 – revealed she doesn’t know when she will be ready for a baby, reported Pinkvilla. However, one thing she does know for sure is that she plans on partying it up and going all out before hitting 40.

"Since I’m turning 39, I’ve been telling my friends that I want to do something crazy, as this is my last birthday before the landmark 40. And I’m quite a bore when it comes to these things, so I’m waiting for them to organise something crazy. Let’s see who comes up with a fun idea — my friends or my husband,” said the Parineeta star.

Vidya and Siddharth Roy Kapur have been married for five years now. When asked if the couple is planning a baby anytime soon, she quipped, "Oh, I have no time for a baby. Each film I do is a new baby. So, I have 20-odd babies. Right now, I’m focused on doing more and good work."

When it comes to her New Year resolutions, Vidya simply wants to "just enjoy the day." This year saw her stellar performance in Tumhari Sulu which impressed the critics and the audience. Speaking about 2017, she stated, "This year has proved that nothing works as well as content does. Of course, when great content is backed by a great director and a great star, it’s a great combination. But it’s time we understood that only big stars don’t guarantee anything, anymore.”
