SCCI urges interest-free loans

President urges the government to provide interest-free loans to exporters on a five-year export plan

SIALKOT: Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Zahid Latif Malik urged the government to provide interest-free loans to exporters on a five-year export plan for import of new technology. He said interest-free loans are also crucial to improving overall technological infrastructure of the industry and encouraging manufacturers to import latest machinery. Talking to reporters, he suggested that the government should take drastic steps for streamlining existing markets and identifying new potential markets for ‘made-in-Pakistan’ products. “Pakistan should focus on exploring market in the Far-East, Central Asian Republics, Latin America and most importantly Russia,” he added.
