Fresh ideas: HEC wants help from students to beat smog

Higher Education Commission has turned to varsity students for some out-of-the-box ideas to beat it

ISLAMABAD: With the smog earlier this year once again perplexing civic administrators and planners, the Higher Education Commission has turned to varsity students for some out-of-the-box ideas to beat it.

This was disclosed as a two-day National Business Plan Competition kicked off at NUML on Tuesday.

Organised by the Business Incubation Centre (BIC)of the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) where 54 ideas had been selected from the 360 received from all over Pakistan. Each workable idea would be provided with financial support from partners.

Higher Education Commission Executive Director Professor Dr Arshad Ali said that the HEC in collaboration with different ministries working on different projects and universities were welcome to participate in such programmes in the future.
