KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced a public holiday across the province on December 27 on account of the death anniversary of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) slain leader and former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, Express News reported.
This year marks the tenth death anniversary of the twice-elected premier.

All offices, autonomous or semi-autonomous, working under the Sindh government will remain closed as per the summary approved by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
On December 27, 2007, Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in a gun and suicide bomb attack after an election rally in Rawlapindi, weeks after she returned to Pakistan from years in self-imposed exile.
