
The demand was put forward by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Hina Pervez Butt through a resolution she submitted in the Punjab Assembly. She contended that the arrest of Kulbhushan was clear evidence of Indian terrorist activities on Pakistani soil.
She contended that Pakistan allowed the family of the Indian national to meet him on humanitarian grounds, despite the fact that authorities in Delhi refused to acknowledge Kulbhushan as their own citizen.

She said that on Monday, the world was witness to the origins of Kulbhushan’s family.
She claimed hundreds of Muslims were killed due to the terrorist activities he was involved in. She said Kulbhushan also confessed to backing banned organisations in different attacks like the ones in Quetta, Turbat and Mehran Base.
She said Kulbhushan visited Pakistan on at least 17 occasions and was arrested red-handed by law enforcement agencies. The MPA continued that Kulbhushan also confessed to the killings of hundreds of Muslims in the country.
She said the house of the Punjab Assembly demands that the United Nations take stern notice of India’s terrorist activities in Pakistan. She added her country always preferred to resolve all matters through dialogue.

Talking to The Express Tribune, she said Indians should stop raising a hue and cry and halt its efforts to prove Pakistan is a terrorist state. She said the nation was a peace-loving country and that was the reason it had lost thousands of armed forces, police and other law enforcement personnel, apart from civilians. She pointed out that operations had been launched to eliminate terrorists like Kulbhushan Jadhav. Butt stated Pakistan would foil every effort of the Indian government to derail Pakistan.
