Four terrorists killed during Balochistan sanitisation operations

QUETTA:
Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) killed four terrorists in two separate operations conducted in the province on Friday.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR), acting on a tip-off regarding the presence of suspicious men involved in subversive activities in the area, Frontier Corps (FC) personnel launched a search operation in a mountainous area of Sibi.

During the operation, exchange of fire took place between security forces and the militants, as a result of which two militants were killed.


Targeted operation ‘to be intensified’ in Balochistan

In other operation conducted in Gandimgozi Kaur, Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) killed two militants in a hideout. Arms and ammunitions were also recovered during the operation.

Targeted operations have been intensified in the province recently to further intensify efforts to take targeted action against the terrorists and their facilitators including those providing them shelter in Balochistan.

Balochistan’s apex committee in August decided to continue supporting the ongoing action against terrorism in the province.
