571 uplift schemes to be completed
DC reviewed pace of work and directed officers concerned to complete projects within the stipulated time
FAISALABAD:
Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani on Wednesday said that 571 development schemes will be completed in the district under Annual Development Programme (ADP) with an estimated cost of Rs42.33 billion.
While chairing a meeting in Faisalabad, he said that the funds would be spent on 12 schemes of Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), 213 schemes of road construction, 125 schemes of provision of missing facilities in schools and 110 schemes of water supply and rural drainage.
Besides, he said 10 schemes of HEC, two projects of social welfare, two schemes of building construction in police stations, 37 schemes of local government, 55 schemes of FDA, one scheme of livestock and four schemes of buildings department will also be completed in the district. The DC reviewed the pace of work and directed the officers concerned to complete the projects within the stipulated time.
