Kidnapping: ‘Lax investigation will not be tolerated’

RATODERO: A demonstration against the police’s investigation in an abduction case was held in Banguldero, on Thursday.

Two boys, Aqib Nawaz and Azhar Mirani, were abducted on their way to a wedding. Azhar’s father was disappointed that the elected representative of the area had not taken up the issue with the authorities. The protestors refused to call off the sit-in despite SHO Assad Khichi’s assurance that the boys will be recovered soon. SPO Miran Khan Durrani told PPI that the criminals had been identified.
