KARACHI: Investments will be made to develop technical education in Pakistan, said British High Commissioner Adam Thomson while speaking to the media on Thursday during a visit to the Memon Industrial and Technical Institute in Korangi.

Thomson said that the development of technical education was necessary for the country’s economic growth, as it would create jobs. The former city nazim, Syed Mustafa Kamal, was also present at the site and briefed the high commissioner about the different courses at the institute.
