Graduation: Bachelors in dental surgery pass out

First batch of Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan Institute of Oral Health Sciences has graduated.

KARACHI: The first batch of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) 2007-2011 at Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan Institute of Oral Health Sciences (DIKIOHS) has successfully graduated.

They are now scheduled to start their house job from May. Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) Vice Chancellor Prof. Masood Hameed Khan and pro-vice chancellor and principal DIKIOHS Prof. M Umar Farooq congratulated the successful candidates. DIKIOHS was established at the Sindh Medical College Campus after the establishment of DUHS. DIKIOHS is the only dental institute in the country which offers a post graduation in various disciplines of dentistry, clinical as well as basic dental sciences. It also has an established School of Dental Care Professionals for training dental technologists/hygienists.
