MQM-P in doldrums

Letter December 31, 2017
Now the party faces the task of keeping itself united

HYDERABAD: The recent news of 50 activists of the MQM-P joining the PPP is likely to raise questions about the future of the party after Altaf Hussain’s absence from the scene. Amid the internal bickering over the matter of forming an alliance with the PSP, the MQM-P is certainly divided. Now the party faces the task of keeping itself united.

The move, on the other hand, has added to the strength of the PPP, which was previously an ally of the MQM.
