KARACHI: A number of Islamic countries have concluded that if the United States does not take back its decision to make occupied Jerusalem the capital of Israel, a meeting of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be convened to decide a hard strategy against Donald Trump's government.

Jerusalem — the OIC summit

This consultation was not made part of the joint communique but of the future strategy of OIC. It took place among important Islamic countries in Istanbul, Turkey.

Important diplomatic sources privy of the development told that OIC has adopted the policy of ‘watch and wait’ for now. After its meeting the OIC is waiting as to what policy UN security council adopts on the recent announcement by the US president Donald Trump and if it becomes successful in solving the problem.

In case of the failure of the UN strategy, OIC will again hold a meeting to decide about its future strategy. The important Islamic countries decided in their meeting held recently that organization for Islamic countries will run an international campaign against recent US announcement and to make Jerusalem the capital of Palestine.

It will aim to convince the international community to increase diplomatic and other pressure on US President Donald Trump to take back his announcement of making the occupied Jerusalem the capital of Israel.

Can unity be happened among the Islamic countries to stand against US and Israel and if happened then this shall be a miracle but this seems impossible???
cuban | 6 years ago | Reply Maybe Pakistan should take the lead rather than talk about it. For starters - how about refusing USA aid and stop trading with your largest export partner? Same issue faces most Islamic countries which is why rhetoric rather than action is the only thing that happen.
