PESHAWAR: There is no load-shedding of Sui gas in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and the slight decrease reported in production of gas is due to some operational and technical reasons, said Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) K-P General Manager Arbab Saqib. Talking to media on Thursday, he said that operation in MOL oil and gas and Nashpa oil field has also affected the Sui gas supply system.

Denying rumours regarding gas load-shedding in K-P, he said that consumption of gas has been increased and E&P companies have launched emergency-operation to meet gas demand. He informed that SNGPL workers shift pipelines after 10:00pm owing to ongoing work on Bus Rapid Transport project reducing the gas pressure to avoid any mishap.
