Shahrukh Jatoi gets bail in fake travelling documents case

Bilawal House Protocol Officer Sohail Ahmed also nominated in the FIR

KARACHI: A judicial magistrate in Malir approved the bail of Shahrukh Jatoi in a case of forged travelling documents against a surety of Rs100,000. The magistrate also ordered Shahrukh's release if he was not involved in any other case.

Shahrukh had been booked in a case of travelling abroad using fake documents along with his brother Nawab Ali Jatoi and Sikandar Ali Jatoi Group of Companies Director Muhammad Khurram. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) officers Mehmood Sultan and Wasi Akhtar were also accused of abetting Shahrukh in his bid to flee abroad. All the accused have obtained bail.

Bilawal House Protocol Officer Sohail Ahmed and travel agents, Umar Domki and Abu Bakr Domki, were also nominated in the FIR.

In September, 2012, Shahrukh had gunned down a youth, Shahzaib. In order to escape arrest, he later allegedly tried to fly abroad through fake document in connivance with the PIA and Bilawal House officers via VIP gate of Jinnah International Airport. However, he could not escape and was arrested.
