Judges’ appointment: BBA president dismisses criticism

Balochistan Bar Association president says appointment of additional judges in Balochistan High Court was baseless.

QUETTA: Balochistan Bar Association (BBA) President Baz Muhammad Kakar has said that criticism on the appointment of additional judges in the Balochistan High Court, in the aftermath of unanimous recommendations by the Judicial Commission and Parliamentary Committee, was baseless and far from reality. Kakar said Balochistan’s legal fraternity had wholeheartedly welcomed the recent recommendations related to the confirmation of the additional judges, adding that there was no seniority issue.
