‘Honour’ killing: Man shoots sister in her sleep

Man suspected that his sister had illicit relations with her neighbour.

SARGODHA: A man killed his younger sister on suspicion of having an affair in Miana on Tuesday morning.

According to police officials, Miana resident, Rustam suspected that his sister Nazia Bibi,19, had had illicit relations with her neighbour. Rustam allegedly shot her while she was asleep and fled the scene.

The girl’s father, Manzoor Ahmed, filed a report with the Midh Ranjha Police. Police officials have registered a case against the accused.
