HYDERABAD: An anti-terrorist court (ATC) on Tuesday ordered the police to arrest all the absconding accused in the Sehwan blast case and present them in court on the next date of hearing on January 10.

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) presented the final charge-sheet on Tuesday. The court was informed that only one of the seven accused, Nadir Ali Jakhrani alias Murshid, was in the custody, while six were at large.

At least 90 people died and hundreds of others were injured when a suicide bomber ripped through the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan on February 16.

For Tuesday’s hearing, the police had brought Jakhrani to Hyderabad from the Karachi Central Jail under tight security. The security was also very high on the court premises during the hearing.
