ISLAMABAD: The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has completed the process of mailing books and study materials to students living overseas.

The books have been dispatched to students in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Oman and Bahrain.

According to the varsity's mailing department, the process of sending books to domestic and foreign students has been undertaken on a fast-track basis as per the roadmap provided by AIOU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Shahid Siddiqui.

On the directives of the Dr Siddiqui, a new computerised tracking system has been introduced, facilitating its thousands of students to check books’ mailing status.
