Kareena Kapoor among others slay at Lux Golden Rose Awards 2017

KARACHI: Held in Mumbai and hosted by King Khan, the night of the Lux Golden Rose Awards sparkled with Bollywood stars as they stunned on the red carpet wearing gorgeous gowns for a night that celebrated beautiful women

Countless celebrities graced the event with their presence including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sridevi, Bhumi Padnekar and more.

Keeping with the 'rose' theme, most divas stayed within the blush tones - think pinks, reds and maroons.

Kareena stunned in her Rami Al Ali light pink halter backless gown. The mesh decolletage featured ruffles from her waist down, really complementing her figure.

Ornamented with pearls, her hair was tied back in a messy bun. Kareena opted for no jewellery, highlighted skin, peachy-pink lips and blushed cheeks - letting the gown do all the talking.

She took home the I Am More Than You Can See Award.

Alia seemed like she was quite literally covered red in roses as she wore this stunning Teuta Matoshi Duriqi ball gown. The straps were decorated with single flowers and studded with diamantes.

She kept her eyes to a minimum but went for bold, feathered brows and classic red lips, augmenting her sleek hair. However, black nails and no jewellery may have been a poor choice.

Alia won the Versatile Beauty of the Year Award.

Styled by Tanya Ghavri, Katrina was clad in various shades of pink. She donned a strapless Reem Acra net dress with a trail. The bodice was fully sequinned with the embellishments fading down on the lower half.

She went for a more cool-toned makeup look. With frosty glossed pink lips, neutral eyes and minimal jewellery, she boasted effortless beauty.

Katrina bagged the Charismatic Beauty Of The Year Award.

Paired with a multi-studded clutch and emerald silver jewellery, Sridevi definitely made a statement.

She won the Power Packed Beauty Of The Year Award.

Bhumi was my personal favourite from the lot. Garbed in a maroon Sachin and Babi gown, this belle definitely stole the show.

The plunging neck-line does wonders, the cinch at the waist enhances her figure and the shoulder detail just takes it to another level.

The dress is adorned with gunmetal butterflies to which Bhumi matched her rings and nails - perfectly tying everything in. Warm eyes, neutral lips and dewy skin truly polished her whole look.

She took home the Break Through Performer Of The Year Award.
