Bank customers have lost hundreds of thousands of rupees to the notorious ATM scam
KARACHI: For more than a month now, bank customers have lost hundreds of thousands of rupees to the notorious ATM scam. And the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is still waiting for more details to take action against the scammers. Although the amount private bank customers have lost to the fraud will be reimbursed, a prompt action is needed alongside the placement of the technologically updated ATM machines. Further, the FIA and other organisations concerned must develop tracking mechanism against such scams and frauds.
