Rihanna sparks engagement rumours with diamond ring

Rumours have surfaced of superstar Rihanna being engaged to billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel after she was spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger.

The singer, 29, was photographed leaving Madison Square Garden, New York where she held her hand up and flashed the ring for the cameras, creating speculation. The jewel appeared to feature a large champagne diamond surrounded by a series of smaller diamonds.

Riri later shared a photograph of herself with her hand raised - showing off the ring in the process.

The couple managed to keep their romance a secret for almost six months before they were snapped in Spain over the summer.

Friends of the singer believe it is the "real deal" after she spent a number of secret weekends in the UK with him this year.

However, Gossip Cop has recently stated that the rumours have no truth to them and Rihanna is not set to wed. "Upon investigating, we were exclusively told she was not engaged and the ring was unconnected to an engagement."
