LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari recently met Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri and the two discussed the scope for an alliance for the next general elections. The PAT and the PPP both have come together primarily to counter the PML-N’s dominance in Punjab. However, since the alliance will not be converging on ideology, it will not last for long.
