Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Sometimes misunderstandings are exactly that, a situation in which there’s a gap in what each side understands to be true and, probably, wise. However, in certain situations you’ve been pretending not to understand others’ intentions. While that worked in the past, recently it’s become unwise, if not just plain risky.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

The last thing you want to do is upset somebody who has good intentions but who always seems to get things wrong. That is, they’re unreliable, late or upset others. Actually, the individual in question is well aware of the fuss they’re causing, and enjoys it. The solution? Steer clear of them.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

Certain individuals are convinced that, even in the midst of chaos, a single plan can be made and kept. During this unsettled period, that’s not just unlikely, it’s impossible. Waste no time arguing. Instead, simply ensure whatever you organise is flexible and leave them to deal with those changes on their own way.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

There’s no wrong way to say the single word ‘no’. It seems somebody is giving you a hard time, complaining you weren’t timely or polite. Whatever they’re objecting to, the real issue is they know you’re right but don’t want to admit it. Discuss this no further and if others raise it, change the subject.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

As a fire sign, you’re intense and can be impatient, something you’re actually rather proud of. Yet with certain crucial matters moving very slowly indeed, that impatience could be more of a liability than an asset. Since things simply can’t be rushed, for now, at least, try to rein in those impatient feelings.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

If ever there was a time to adopt an open minded approach to arrangements you’ve only just organised, and plans you struggled to get going, it’s now. True, for you, as a practical Virgo, inevitably this will be annoying. However, those new plans are bound to be better than the first lot you came up with.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

Urgent as certain discussions seem, not only can they wait, with Mercury retrograde and causing confusion, even the simplest exchange of ideas would be easier, and achieve more, when things are back to normal, after the 23rd. Between now and then, explore and discuss all your options but sidestep any commitments.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Ordinarily you’d never make important decisions without first gathering the facts, then weighing up your options and assessing what’s best. However, with the actual foundation on which those decisions are based shifting, the more flexible both your arrangements and your perspective on them, the easier it will be to rethink them, as is inevitable.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

Everybody is eager to make plans, and for all sorts of reasons, from practical necessities to planning their holidays or year-end break. But you sense there’ll be so much change that even the simplest of plans will need to be rethought, and often in ways you’d never have thought of or conceived possible.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

You have an instinctive sense of value, one that influences decisions in every area of your life. However, you’ve been ignoring one or two situations because they’re so complex you’ve no idea what to do. The only solution is to seek advice from somebody who’s an expert. They’ll help you, more than you realise.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

By no means are you critical of others. However, when you notice somebody is doing things in a way that complicates their life or is making unwise decisions, you’ll raise and discuss your concerns. While they’re usually well received, with the retrograde Mercury triggering confusion, think twice before you speak up.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Usually you’re able to spot situations in which what seems rudeness or, alternatively, an aggressive attitude on the part of somebody else is really about an unspoken and, possibly, unacknowledged, problem. And you’ll discus it. For now, don’t. The issues the individual in question are wrestling with are far too complicated.
