Member National Assembly Salman Mujahid Baloch, who was expelled from Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) in October, has joined the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).

PSP chief Mustafa Kamal welcomed the lawmaker into his party while addressing a news conference on Friday. He was accompanied by Baloch and other PSP leaders.

Kamal said the MQM was holding rallies as it was fast losing popularity and that people from MQM-Pakistan were joining his party every other day.

Mujahid was expelled from the party after he accused that MQM-P's leadership including Farooq Sattar was in contact with Altaf Hussain.
