ISPR to support NACTA in its counter-terrorism efforts

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) – the media wing of Pakistan Army – has assured National Counter-Terrorism Authority (Nacta) full support in its efforts to eliminate terrorism from the country.

Nacta National Coordinator Ihsan Ghani visited ISPR head office in Rawalpindi on Friday, said a statement issued by the military’s media wing.

Ghani met DG ISPR Major-General Asif Ghafoor and discussed coordination, cooperation and support for the ongoing counter-terrorism efforts by the Nacta.


The DG ISPR assured him full support from his department on behalf of Pakistan Armed Forces, read the statement.

The decision of strengthening Nacta was part of the unanimously adopted 20-point National Action Plan (NAP) against terrorism, announced following the deadly attack on Army Public School (APS), Peshawar in 2014.
