A huge cache of arms and ammunition, hidden by terrorists, was also recovered, including hand-grenades and IEDs.

Earlier in June this year, security forces had seized a huge cache of weapons and ammunition during various intelligence-based operations (IBOs) carried out in parts of Khyber Agency.

Operation Radd-ul-fasaad was launched after a series of deadly bombings across the country killed over 100 people in February 2017. This is overall 11th military operation launched in the country since 2007 when the country adopted a comprehensive strategy to deal with terrorism.
