Minister pays surprise visit to hospital

During the inspection, the minister went to different wards and inquired about health of the patients

LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Primary and Secondary Health Khawaja Imran Nazir paid a surprise visit to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Wazirabad on Wednesday.

During the inspection, the minister went to different wards and inquired about health of the patients, besides inspecting different sections of the hospital, including outpatients ward, hepatitis clinic and pharmacy.

Punjab ‘on way to best healthcare’

The minister inquired the patients about the quality of healthcare facilities being provided to them as well as the provision of free medicines.

The patients and their attendants expressed satisfaction over the quality of treatment and different facilities available in the hospital.

The minister directed to increase the number of help counters and sitting arrangements in the OPD keeping in view the rush of the patients.

He directed the officials to provide more desks in the pharmacy to store the medicines in a proper way.
