Rumour has it that Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and India captain Virat Kohli are getting married next week in Italy.

A destination wedding has been speculated, with the functions being spread across four days starting from December 9, according to India Today.

Quoting sources, the Indian publication said Virat might leave for Italy for the wedding on Thursday.

Earlier, reports had suggested that the couple planned to have a high profile destination wedding, with their close friends and relatives attending the ceremony.

However, the Bollywood star's spokesperson has put these rumours to rest, calling them untrue.

"There is absolutely no truth to it (rumours of marriage)" said the spokesperson.

The couple was last seen together dancing at Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge's wedding last week.

Recently, Kohli also praised Anushka in the chat show 'Breakfast with Champions' calling Anushka his lady luck.

Most of our celebrities tie the knot in India be it Kareen-Saif, Sachin Tendulkar-Anjali, Amir Khan, Abhishek-Aishwarya, Sania Mirza(with Shoaib Malik. Some of the biggest hit movies from India were filmed entirely in Infia from Mother India and Mughal-eAzam to Zanjeer, Deewar and Sholay to Hum Aap je hain Kaun to the most recent dabangg and Dangal. Yes there are people who marry abroad but by no means is that the norm even for celebrities. As for movies, for a while movies with overseas shooting were a craze as it provided the aam aadmi a window to the whole wide world for the price of a movie ticket. But that phase has passed with many of the movies that were a craze being shot entirely in smalll town India.

Typical Indian mindset: keep on praising India globally using propaganda and then when it comes to their own choice, then anywhere but India to capture and share the lifetime worth of memories! That's why Bollywood heavily films overseas: India is polluted, unhygienic, and no one wants to see a movie that doesn't have at least 1 hour footage abroad! lol!
