Now we already know events at the Ambani house are typically graced by the who's who of Bollywood but this time around, there was a special kind of newcomer: Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London, reported Hindustan Times.

The star-studded affair included attendees such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Sridevi, Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez. Needless to say, even Mayor Sadiq couldn't contain his excitement as he took to social media to share pictures from the event.

Bollywood's resident cutie pie Alia was seen wearing a black top paired with a bright, multi-coloured skirt, while Katrina donned a white embroidered sari. King Khan looked dapper always in a classic suit whereas Big B wore his signature bandhgala.

Sadiq was elected as the Mayor of London in May 2016 where he succeeded Boris Johnson from the Conservative Party.
