The education minister Gilani was talking to the media while inspecting the different on-going development projects in the capital city. “First time in the history of AJK, the development work is visible on ground,” Gilani added.
He said following the 18th Amendment of the Constitution, AJK was deprived of Rs4b in PPP government. He said PML-N government increased the development budget from Rs10.729b to Rs23.28 billion which was the main achievement of present government. Gilani said that his government believes in merit. It is PML-N government where every talented boy and girl is getting gazetted job through Public Service Commission (PSC) that shows how the government believe in merit and institutions.
