The meeting was attended by Planning and Development Chairperson Mohammad Waseem, Principal Secretary to the CM Sohail Rajput, Finance Secretary Hassan Naqvi, Karachi Package Project Director Niaz Soomro and Karachi package engineer Khalid Masroor.

The CM has already released Rs214.47 million for construction of the U-turn and other projects. "Why is the work being delayed when I have released the funds?" he questioned and sent his team, led by Waseem, to evaluate the situation.
Shah also said that the underpass at Submarine Chowrangi has not been completed so far. "I want to open its one track on December 15 and will perform a stone laying ceremony of the flyover at Sunset Boulevard on the same day," he said, adding that work on the Sunset Boulevard flyover must be completed within three months of the starting date.

"The architects will start beautification work within 10 days," promised Rajput.
