Following multiple rumours about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's engagement, the British Royal Family issued a statement earlier this week that said they "would not give a running commentary on Harry’s love life." And now, it seems like there is no need for further debate as the much-loved couple has officially announced the news of their engagement, reported Express.Clarence House tweeted the happy news on its account. “His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Harry to Ms Meghan Markle," the post read.

The Archbishop Justin Welby was reported to have been asked for his blessings for the church wedding, and is said to have no objections.

Has Meghan Markle been warned against marrying Prince Harry?

BBC further tweeted:

Meghan has reportedly moved in with the Prince at his residence, Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace.

A source said, “Meghan will be put through a number of training scenarios in which she will be a hostage who needs to be rescued."

They added, “She will be tied to a chair and members of the SAS with sub-machine guns and live ammo will fight their way into the building and rescue her."

They went on to say, “The training will be very realistic, pretty tough and can be very scary. Meghan will be told what to do and then given a chance to put what she has been taught into practice.”8 things Meghan Markle did to get the perfect body
