The workers and supporters of Sunni Tehreek staged a protest rally in Quetta. They marched on different roads of the provincial capital carrying banners and placards inscribed with anti-government slogans. During the rally they chanted slogans against the federal government and were led by Sunni Tehreek leaders Allama Ghulam Abbas Qadri, Allama Muhammad Yousaf and Allama Zainul Abidin.

At the end of the rally the protestors gathered in front of the press club where the Tehreek leaders, while speaking to the participants, strongly condemned the law enforcement agencies action against the people who were demanding the ouster of federal law minister and others responsible for preparing constitutional amendment against Khatm-e-Nubuwat.
