Other cast members include Vasay Chaudhry, Uzma Khan, Sarwat Gilani and further additions comprise Mawra Hocane and Kubra Khan.

There were earlier reports that Rishi Kapoor was offered a role in the movie which he politely turned down. Syra Shehroz was also offered a part in JPNA2 – however, she also refused saying that her role wasn’t “substantial” enough.

The first chapter of the movie was adored by Pakistani audiences worldwide while some movie-goers also criticised it for its vulgarity. This was reportedly one of the reasons Hamza Ali Abbasi backed out from the sequel.
