GILGIT: Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Secretary Dr Kazim Niaz has said the G-B government was making efforts for provision of quality education to the special children. While addressing a seminar on “Autism, Dyslexia and Inclusive Education” on Thursday, he said special attention was required for the education of special children. In the first phase, these centres were being setup in Skardu, Ghazar and Chilas to make them useful citizens of the society, he added. The chief secretary said teaching was a noble profession and great responsibilities rest on teachers to make special focus on character buildings of students besides their career counselling. “No nation can make progress without education and we need to take advantage of experiences of education experts for preparing students with modern days challenges,” he said.
