The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has announced a schedule for the provision of laptops under Chief Minister’s E-Youth Programme to students selected on merit in matric examination 2017. According to a spokesman for the Lahore Board, 513 students of district Lahore securing 1,060 to 1,087 marks had been chosen in the first phase. The selected students had been informed that they should reach the Aiwan-e-Iqbal at 8am on November 25, 2017 along with necessary documents including matric result card, B-form, CNIC of the father and a bona-fide certificate of the current institution. It should be mentioned here that this time students securing 91 per cent (1001) or above marks will be given laptops. The second phase will be announced later on and the selected students will be informed through SMS on their mobile numbers, concluded the spokesman.
